How to log (cheat sheet)

• Open this file, find const LOG, append one line, save, refresh. Or just tell Claude Code: "timeline: paused ost2 — busy with CTF".
• start / resume — you're on it now.
• progress — milestone: chapter done, lab done, video finished. Log these often; they're what keeps a track from going stale.
• pause — stopping deliberately. Write why in the note.
• skip with tag:"x" — deferring a sub-part (a chapter, a section). It sits on the Parked shelf until a pickup with the same tag. Never orphaned silently.
• drop — consciously abandoning. No shame — a logged drop is the opposite of an orphan.
• finish — done 🎉
• New track? Add one line to TRACKS first.
• Silence ≥ days → STALE (amber). ≥ days → ORPHAN (red banner). Pausing with a reason resets nothing — orphan pressure applies to paused tracks too, so "paused" can't become a hiding place.
